Important Notice Regarding Changes to the Attendance Law for September 2015

In response to the changes in School Attendance Law, Hampshire County Council has reviewed its ‘Code of Conduct’. This code sets out for all schools what actions must be taken for any child with ten or more sessions (five days) of unauthorised absence from September 2015. Currently this is set at twenty or more sessions (ten days). These are significant changes which parents must be aware of and which all schools must abide by.

Please see the leaflet below which was given to students to take home to parents on 1st June 2015.

Girls and Boys

Light blue polo shirt.

Maroon rugby shirt (with white band) – boys only.

Gum shields are optional but strongly advised for boys playing rugby.

Blue school PE hooded sweatshirt for girls (optional for boys).

Two pairs black shorts (one for indoor, one for outdoor use).

Pair white ankle socks (indoor use).

Pair of light blue three-quarter length socks (outdoor use).

Dark blue or black tracksuit bottoms (optional)

Trainers. Please purchase trainers in a similar style to that pictured as they give the most support for the foot and are correct for our new Sports Hall floor. Plimsolls and old 2G Astro trainers are not appropriate to use in the Sports Hall and Gymnasium.

Studded boots – boys only. Only the style shown in the picture is suitable for our 3G Astro, no blades or metal studs please. This style of boot shown is equally the right boot for grass and for rugby as well.

Please make sure PE kit is clearly named.
