The Duke Of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) is a four section programme with three levels; Bronze, Silver and Gold.

The sections are:

Volunteering
(volunteering to help people in the community)

Skills
(discovery and development of personal interests, social and practical skills)

Physical Recreation

(involvement and improvement in physical activities)    

Expedition

(training, planning and completing a journey)

The Award aims to provide an enjoyable, challenging and rewarding experience for the young people involved.

Many companies and universities understand the importance of the Award and the transferable skills that the young people can develop by being involved.

At Warblington we offer students the opportunity to achieve their Bronze Award.

Physical Recreation
3 months

Expeditions
Plan, prepare for and undertake a 2 day, 1 night venture

All participants must undertake a further 3 months in either the
volunteering, skills or physical recreation section.
