We currently have School Direct training places in English, Design Technology and Mathematics.
Warblington School is one of five local schools working in close partnership with the Solent SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) training the next generation of outstanding teachers.
We are committed to teacher training and have in place a strong coaching programme; C4O (Coaching for Outstanding). The aim of the programme is to share our expertise and work collaboratively, giving us a platform to share ideas and adapt our teaching. It also gives us a forum to share and discuss innovative teaching strategies that will challenge and inspire our learners to make accelerated progress.
We also have a robust New Staff Induction Programme ensuring all trainee teachers, NQTs and RQTs have timetabled meetings each fortnight covering specific topics and checking progress enabling us to fully support our new teachers.
